_5.12.2016 - Ogilvie, MN -- Ogilvie Raceway Team 60 packed up for the first race on the USMTS Northern Region schedule at Ogilvie Raceway. Dan's ARCTIC CAT Modified started 4th and won his 8 lap heat race. With the heat race win, Dan put himself at the top of the board in passing points being the #1 qualifier over 48 drivers (Thats one way to kick off the season). Dan redrew outside pole leading a packed field of talent following behind him. Completing over 3/4 of the 42 lap show Dan gambled a little to close with the wall which resulted in a right front flat. The team did a tire change and made it out before the green flag flew again. Starting at the tail with 11 laps to go, Dan managed to race from last to 9th!! Talk about up on the wheel.
