On May 26th, Dan raced at the 3/8 mile high banked clay oval - Lawrenceburg Speedway for the first time. It was bound to be an awesome night of racing with the UMP Modifieds and the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars. There was no modified qualifying. Our pill draw placed Dan 3rd row inside of the 4th heat. After a few cautions, Dan worked his way from 5th to 1st and placed himself in the ring to re-draw for the feature. The modified main was stacked with top talent, Lawrenceburg track champion - Matt Hamilton and two-time UMP modified champion - Devin Gilpin. Starting 7th of the 25 lap feature, Dan worked his way to 4th when the checkers flew! "The track was banked and fast. Had a blast and learned a ton!" said Dan.
