Dan Ebert makes Dirt Late Model Dream debut at Eldora Speedway

Opening up the weekend with a $20,000-to-win FloRacing show, Dan Ebert was one of 85 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday evening for the 31st-annual Dirt Late Model Dream.

Ebert was not able to earn a spot in the week's opener and focused his attention to Friday's preliminary night. Dan laid down the sixth-quickest lap in his qualifying group and grabbed a transfer spot with a runner-up finish in his heat. In the $30,000-to-win prelim, Ebert recorded a 20th-place finish.

Slated to start on the third-row of a heat race on Saturday, Ebert finished sixth in his heat race and made up three spots in his last chance showdown. Despite the charge forward, Dan came up just a few spots short of making the cut.
