Ebert charges to seventh-place outing in Silver Dollar Nationals finale at Husets Speedway

Kicking off a four-race stretch before a late-summer break, Dan Ebert was one of 38 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) on Tuesday afternoon for the Kosiski Family 53.

Ebert recorded a 16th-place finish in the $25,053-to-win event before turning his focus to the 15th-annual Silver Dollar Nationals at Husets Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) Thursday through Saturday.

Dan finished 16th and 17th in the preliminary shows and started 20th in the $75,000-to-win finale. Ebert slowly made his way through the field and wound up inside the Top-10 in seventh when the feature was called due to rain.

Ebert is 13th in the current point standings.
