Ebert earns career-high finish with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Batesvillle Motor Speedway

Dan Ebert pulled off his roof for the weekend and followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the 33rd-annual Topless 100.

With 44 Late Models on hand, Ebert started 10th in his $5,000-to-win preliminary feature and moved forward six positions to land inside the Top-5 in fourth. The finish slated him a fourth-row starting spot for the 100-lap finale on Saturday. Dan survived an attrition-filled race and wound up fourth in the $50,000-to-win feature, his best-career finish with the series. He trailed Jonathan Davenport, Chris Madden, and Devin Moran while Brandon Sheppard completed the Top-5.
