Eighth-place run in 21st-annual Knoxville Nationals with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series

Back in Super Late Model competition over the weekend, Dan Ebert and his crew followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to the state of Iowa for the 21st-annual Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.

Ebert opened up the weekend with a strong charge through the field in Thursday's rain-shortened preliminary feature where he went from 22nd-to-10th. On Friday, Dan fell back in his heat race, but made up ground once again in the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature and finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th.

Dan earned the 21st-starting spot in Saturday's $75,000-to-win finale and immediately went to work through the field. Going on another furious charge, Ebert recorded a 21st-to-8th run and landed a Top-10 in the Knoxville Nationals.
