Fifth-place finish in Gateway prelim feature for Dan Ebert in The Dome at America's Center
Dan Ebert and his special "Goldie" paint scheme were selected for Friday's preliminary night in The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) and were among 61 other competitors on night two of the Gateway Dirt Nationals.
Clocking in 10th-fastest during time trials, Ebert made up two positions in his heat race and earned a spot in the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature. Dan continued to move forward in the 25-lapper and rounded out the Top-5 behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Mark Whitener, Brenden Smith, and Zack Dohm.
On Saturday, Dan earned his spot in the $70,000 finale after winning his qualifier race. Ebert started 10th in the 40-lap feature, but recorded a DNF in 16th.
