Ebert attends rain-shortened Illinois Speedweek
Navigating through wet weather all week, Dan Ebert kicked off Illinois Speedweek with FloRacing Night in America on Wednesday evening at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) with a $20,000-to-win show after losing the series opener at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway on Tuesday evening.
Grabbing a the final transfer spot in his heat race, Ebert started 15th in the 50-lap, $20,000-to-win main event and finished 18th. The Thursday night show at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway was washed out after rain showers hit the facility during heat races.
Ebert then went to Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday for the Spring Shootout after the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend opener at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway was also lost to Mother Nature. Dan finished 15th in the $30,000 finale.
