Alexandria. MN - the prestigious Mod Nationals event returned to Viking Speedway over July 4th with a 2 day show. They kicked off the weekend with heat races where Dan caught the leader with two laps to go. Coming out of corner four Dan got a strong run and the two drivers were nose to nose at the finish line, he charged to the end but ended up second, he really put on a show. Dan started 14th in the qualifying feature which lined up the field for the Sunday's race. Coming from 14th to finish 7th Dan earned himself a solid starting position for the $11,000 to win big show. Unfortunately mother nature won on Sunday leaving the racers to finish 55 out of 70 laps on Thursday October 8th.
Dan's 2015 season has wrapped up, see you in 2016!
